Bio: Mike Scheid has been working with students for over 16 years, first as a High School and Middle School youth pastor in Scottsdale, AZ and Denver, CO. He has always been passionate about helping to better the lives of those around him, especially students. After leaving his position at a church in the Denver area he began working at Apple for 4 years as a certified trainer. During his time at Apple he presented many 1 on 1 training sessions along with multi user workshops for up 300 participants. He received certifications from Apple including Mobile Device, Aperture, iLife, iWork, OSX, Trainer, and Presenter. He left Apple to become the VP of operations for a non-profit organization that supplied relief for Rwanda. In his work with this non-profit, he was responsible for developing their technology infrastructure to facilitate their relief efforts. After that position he began his work with Cherry Hills Christian School, a prestigious private school in Highlands Ranch, CO, were he is currently the Technology Integration Specialist. In this role he is leading the implementation of their 1 to 1 iPad program that began in early 2012.

His vast experience in many varying fields gives him a unique perspective on education and the pedagogy of technology. He is passionate about seeing technology become a powerful tool to bring the classroom into the 21st century and see our digital native students truly engage in learning. In addition to this work experience, he is the father of 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade girls which gives him experience with the challenges technology can bring to the home and parenting. As an accomplished speaker and presenter you will enjoy his presentation style that will incorporate humor and fun.
 
Mike will be presenting on the most important and fundamental question when deciding to implement iPads. Who owns the Apps?
