iPadpalooza is a three-day event held at Westlake High School in Austin, TX. This learning festival is a celebration of the cultural-shift the mobile devices have brought about in education and the world. This event will focus on creativity, social collaboration, engagement and the compelling ways schools have integrated mobile learning into their classrooms.
In 2017, we’ll be hosting our 6th annual iPadpalooza with the theme of “Learning on the GO”. The event will take place from June 5-8, 2017
This year we are excited to bring back some favorites from 2016. We’ll have our iLead Academy the day before the big event (June 5th) as well as many half-day “Learnshops“ which will focus on more in-depth integration of mobile devices in the classroom.
We will also be hosting our 4th annual iPadpalooza Youth Film Festival in 2017. This is a K-12 film festival open to the public with the only rules being the short films must be shot, edited, and published all via a mobile device. The semi-finals will be hosted on the evening of June 7th at the Alamo Drafthouse theater. The finalists will be shown at the closing event on the 8th.
Our APPmazing Race has been a huge success the last three years and continues to get more and more competitive. This year, the members of the winning team each won an 12.9″ iPad Pro!
We hope you will join us in Austin this summer for all of these special one-of-a-kind features plus a few surprises!
iPadpalooza…It’s not a conference, it’s a learning festival!
